Other Church Services

Taizé

Those who enjoyed experiencing Taizé at St. Paul’s in December might like to know that there will be a Taizé service here on Friday, May 8th at 7:00 pm.

Evensong

You are invited to share a special choral Evensong service at the Church of the Incarnation in
Santa Rosa at 550 Mendocino Avenue on Friday June 5th at 6:00 pm.

Originating in Anglican ritual, Evensong combines Biblical readings and prayers with chant, hymns, Renaissance polyphony, and modern choral works. On the 6th the music will feature the works of Richard Ayleward, Healey Willan, J.P. Sweelinck, and Richard Shephard. The service is presented by Cantiamo Sonoma, with Carol Menke, Artistic Director, the Rev. Rod McAulay, Officiant, and Joey Prather, Organist. The intent is to provide listeners with a peaceful hour of music and meditation at day’s end.
Another Evensong is planned at the church on Fridays at 6:00 pm— and September 4th.
