How to Volunteer

Jobs that Volunteers can do to help NCCS:  

   Would you like to make a difference in our community and to help people in need?  

     You can be a volunteer with North County Community Services, or NCCS. We have many different ways that you can be a volunteer, according to your schedule, skills, and interests.

Annual Summer NCCS Dinner:
   Before the Dinner:  
     Donations for the Live Auction:  
        Events, trips, dinners, etc. 

   Donations for the Silent Auction:
     Services, books, wine, tickets, home decor, art, music, etc. 

  At the Dinner:  
     Help with Set-Up
     Help with Clean-Up
     Ticket takers
      Silent Auction Set-up
      Silent Auction cashiers
      Raffle ticket sales
      Refreshments table 

Respond to calls for Emergency Shelter in our Spare Room:
    These people are on call to come and open the shelter for people who need a place to stay. 
       You choose which evenings you would like to be on call.  Calls are usually only taken until 8 pm. 

Board Member for NCCS:  
  Come to meetings once a month. 
   Help us to plan fund raising, maintaining our current services, and planning new projects and services.
