ECW Mission Statement

We, the Episcopal Church Women (ECW), join together to give spiritual and financial support to the membership of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Healdsburg, California. We meet in fellowship to communicate and coordinate projects that meet the needs of our church community. Through this fellowship we, as women of St. Paul’s, grow stronger in our love for one another and our service as women. Through this service, we show Christ’s love to others in our community.

Meetings

ECW is open to all of the women of St. Paul’s. The monthly luncheon meeting is usually in the parish hall at 11:30 on the second Thursday of the month. Those planning to attend are asked to RSVP to the church office by the Tuesday ahead so that the month’s hostesses know how many will be coming for the light lunch.

Please check the church calendar for exact dates and contact us with any questions.

Manna Meals

For parish folks who are ill or recovering from surgery or injury and could use a home-cooked meal lovingly delivered directly to their door. Manna Meals is chaired by Elizabeth Taylor.

Rainbow Writers

Cards are sent from the group to offer sympathy, get-well wishes, birthday greetings or just general cheering up. Rainbow Writers is chaired by Linda Maxwell.

Receptions

ECW offers assistance to families who hold receptions in our Parish Hall.

Holiday Boutique Fundraiser

ECW holds its annual Holiday Boutique in the Church Hall in November of each year. Proceeds from this event have funded significant improvements to St. Paul's, including painting of the front red doors, the new St. Paul’s sign above the front doors, and new lighting in the Narthex and front of church.

The following is a list of items sold in our boutiques over the years, so that you can start making, gathering, and setting aside things for next year's event:

  • Homemade items from your kitchen; such as jams, jellies, dressings, candies, and  cookies (especially gingerbread people)  Please, no whole cakes or pies.
  • Hand-crafted items
  • "Gift and antique shop" types of items
  • Collectibles, china, and ceramics
  • Seasonal collectibles
  • Jewelry (October is the month that we gather to price jewelry)
