For Our Young People
Christmas Pageant
Our young people put on a wonderful Christmas Pageant showing the story of Mary and Joseph as they searched for a place to stay and were turned away at all of the Inns, until they were finally offered a place in a stable. They led us to draw comparisons to the plight of the homeless in our community searching for shelter.
Sunday School:
Our young people get personalized care in our Sunday School program that meets at 10 am each Sunday morning during the school year. The children and their teachers use a curriculum that follows the Church Year and the lectionary cycle of the Episcopal Church.
Many of our children have been prepared to receive Holy Communion. This is done jointly by the priest and parents and is usually a response to the child’s own request to be allowed to receive. Children in their early to mid-teen’s are subsequently prepared for Confirmation by attending a class that meets weekly, as needed.
Child Care:
We do have childcare available for the younger children.
